Day 01

Amritsar

Amritsar is a city rich in history, spirituality and culture. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later go for half-day tour of Amritsar – Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum, Durgiana Temple and in the evening visit its vibrant local market for shopping. We advise you to visit the Golden Temple once again in the late evening, before going back to your hotel. The temple is arguably at its best at night, when it’s illuminated and the central promenade leading to the inner sanctum is lit with strings of lights.

Day 02

Amritsar To Chamba

After breakfast drive to Chamba. The princely state of Chamba was founded in AD 920 by Raja Sahil Varman and it survived for 1000 years until finally falling to the British in 1845. On arrival go for half-day local tour – Bhuri Singh Museum, Akhand Chandi Palace, Chamunda Mata Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple & Champavati Temple.
Evening visit the local market.

Day 03

Bharmour Excursion

After breakfast we will go for a day excursion to Bharmour, the ancient capital of Chamba — just like Naggar for Kullu Valley. Located at nearly 7000 feet in Budhil Valley, Bharmour, for a visitor, has everything — from scenic beauty to ancient temples to a rich (and quite preserved because of low tourist inflow compared to other places in Himachal) culture. The town lies between the Pir-Panjal and the Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas and between Ravi Valley and Chenab Valley. About landscapes and vibe, in Budhil Valley in general, you will find abundant alpine pastures with a lot of Gaddis (or Shephard) making their way from Chamba to Lahaul, or vice-versa. The local tour of Bharmour includes Chaurasi Temple, Kugti Village (subject to road condition), Bharmani Mata Temple, Hadsar Waterfall, Ghared Waterfall, Kaksen Waterfall and Bhagsen Waterfall. Drive back to Chamba.

Day 04

Chamba to Dalhousie

After breakfast depart for Dalhousie. On the way visit Khajiar – The Mini Switzerland. This quaint hill station is surrounded by gorgeous lakes, pastures, and forests. After spending some time drive to Dalhousie and on arrival go for local tour – Jandri Ghat Palace, Subhash Baoli, Subhash Chowk, GPO, St. Jhon’s Church.
In the evening visit the local market

Day 05

Dalhaousie to Palampur

After breakfast drive to Palampur. Located at the foot of Dhauladhar Mountains, Palampur offers a peaceful and rejuvenating experience with its natural beauty, cultural attractions, and tea heritage. On arrival explore the lush Tea-Gardens, Baijnath Temple, Tashi Jong Monastery, Saurabh Van Vihar and Palampur Bazar.
Evening free at leisure or go for a walk near Neugal Khad stream

Day 06

Excursion

After breakfast go for full day excursion of Palampur, Andretta & Bir. Visit Himalayan Adrenaline – Activity place in Palampur providing outdoor Activities & Experiences. Andretta-The Pottery Village. Visit Sobha Singh Art Gallery, Norah Richards House & Andretta Pottery. Later visit Ancient Baijnath Shiv Temple. Visit Bir– The Paragliding Capital of India. Drive back to Palampur.

Day 07

Palampur to Dharamshala

After breakfast drive to to Dharamshala. On arrival visit the iconic HPCA Cricket Stadium, explore War Memorial, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Nag Temple.

Day 08

McLeodganj

After breakfast drive to McLeodganj, a suburb of Dharamshala known for its Tibetan culture and spirituality. Visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex, which includes the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama. Explore the Tibetan Museum, Kangra Art Museum and St. John in the Wilderness Church. Enjoy leisure time in McLeod Ganj, shopping for Tibetan handicrafts and trying out local cafes.

Departure

After Breakfast, check-Out and drive to Amritsar Airport for onwards Journey

    A deposit of 60% per person is required upon booking. This deposit forms part of the final payment. However, a payment of deposit does not constitute confirmation of the tour. Rest of the payment is required 15 days before departure. Failure to comply with this may result in an automatic cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of your deposit
  • Methods of Payment:
    Methods of payment are cash or bank transfer or UPI. All major international currencies are accepted, the exchange rate being determined at the sole discretion of Himalayan Rural Stays and updated periodically. Exchange rates so set are final and non-negotiable. Whatever the method of payment, payments must have to be cleared in our account by the payment deadline
  • Refund/ Compensation:
    No refunds, either in part or in full, will be made for unused air tickets, ground transportation, meals, accommodation, car rental or sightseeing tours not taken. No compensation will be made in case of rail/ road blocks, general strikes, cancellation of flight/ bus/ train services by the respective authorities. No compensation will be made as a result of Force Majeure (unforeseen circumstances beyond human control, e.g. war, civil strike, landslides, earthquake, floods). The Company can accept no responsibilities for loss or any additional expenses to travelers due to delay, changes in schedule or extended stay or extra vehicle services enjoyed by the passengers

Amritsar Night Tour
