Day 1

Guwahati Airport to Bhalukpong

On arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will drive to Bhalukpong. Transfer to resort on arrival.

Day 2

Bhalukpong to Dirang/Sangti

Morning take a walk through Nameri National Park. Rafting (mild rapids) forms a day long adventure in a raft as you cruise along the waters of Jia Bhoroli river. The 2.5 hrs rafting will acquaint you with numerous birds. After breakfast proceed to Dirang. The journey is along a very scenic road traversing forested hills. And crossing over the Nichephu pass to the Tanga valley. On the way visit Orchid Research Centre Tipi, an Orchidarium with about 10,000 orchid plants belonging to various genera and species. Orchid Sanctuary (blooming is from end March till May), Arunachal has the largest range of orchids in the country. . En-route visit Nag Mandir & Thembang village – The tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Convention. Home of the Monpa tribe. The fortified village covers 3.2 acres of land and upholds a huge historical value.

Day 3

Dirang/Sangti Local Tour

Morning visit Mandala Top offers stunning views of the surrounding area and 108 Buddhist stupas built in concentric circles where each is inscribed with the words ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’. Later visit to Dirang Dzong old heritage village is a Dirang Fort and monastery Kalachakra Gompa. Visit Sangti valley Dirang is surrounded by low mountains of eastern Himalayas.

Day 4

Dirang To Tawang

Breakfast at hotel later drive to Tawang pass through Sela Tunnel World’s Longest Bi-Lane Tunnel. Sela pass is one of the highest motorable roads .It is famous for high altitude lakes & scenic beauty. Later precede to Jaswant Garh War Memorial a memorial of the brave Indian soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat. Stop at Nuranang Falls also known as Jang Falls abont 100 m high waterfall. Upon Arrival and check in the hotel.

Day 5

Tawang

Morning breakfast Visit Bum La Pass (Indo-China Border) for which you will have to take permit from the DC office at Tawang on your own, The Sangestar Tso, formerly called Shonga-tser Lake and popularly known as the Madhuri Lake and Pangateng Tso Lake (P.Tso Lake). Please Note you will also have to take a local taxi in Tawang on direct payment basis to cover these places as our vehicles are not allowed.

Day 6

Tawang to Bomdila

After Breakfast transfer to Bomdila. Check in the hotel on arrival. Visit Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila View Point, Apple Orchards. Bomdila offers wonderful panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges.
Evening you can visit the local market.

Day 7

Bomdila to Shergaon

Morning breakfast later proceed to Shergaon, serenity, adventure or just a peaceful time with the village folks, Shergaon is the place to be, one of the most beautiful villages in Arunachal Pradesh. Model Village to promote rural and eco-tourism in the district. Visit to Chillipam Monastery in Rupa and Lhagyala Gompa Domkho in Morshing, Sanglem .Visit to Apple, Kiwi and different berry orchards are famous in Shergaon.

Day 8

Shergaon to Guwahati

After breakfast proceed to Guwahati. Reach the jetty and go for sunset river cruise over the river Brahmaputra. Later transfer to hotel.
